A collaboration for a rebrand and refresh of Readings Bookstore done in collaboration with Thao Trinh and Anastasia Skliris, this university project generated a new user experience for the brand personality of Readings. One being a take-home kit that includes this contemporary small-scaled zine of book reviews.
With a combination of eclectic layouts and contrasting bright colours, this zine takes a forward thinking approach to publication design, whilst maintaining an element of surprise with each turn of the page. It incorporates a connect between both international and local communities through the incorporation of international translations printed inside the centre pages. It is bound using the kettle stitch binding method and folded with quarter folds. The overall design reflects a futuristic approach and design language, showcasing the way in which print publication may head in the future.
